Was born with a crayon in my hand One door closes and another opens. I had to retire from a 30 year music career and my day job when my lungs went out on me - pulmonary fibrosis. But I was lucky. I 've been able to fall back on my second love - art. I get to do what I came to this planet to do - color all day. Ya can't beat that. Pastels, il----rations. Color pencil. Digital. I just did a "Skater Girl Zombie" for my niece for Xmas. Cartoons, sketches, mixed medium. I love it all. I 've done some "Art Walks". Not too many lately, it's hard to carry ones framed art from place to place in a wheel chair. So, my focus is on galleries these days. And meeting other artists to network with, and make art with. I'm volunteering with a group in my city at the moment whose goal is to bring art into our public parks. Art has gotten me through this catastrophic health crisis. I would not have made it with out it.
