Recently tried online dating for the first time, and soon realized after trying out some other sites that the type of people I generally make a better connection with are those who also have a passion for something creative or music related. Not a rule, but thought I would try to meet some more like minded people.

I have a career that I enjoy, but my main passion in life is writing and performing music. Mind blowing on this site, right? Although I do take music seriously and have goals I am working to achieve, I do not intend to make it my career. For me it is about the creative process, and then letting it out on stage.

I also love playing hockey, watching standup comedy, going to shows, and finding ways to improve myself one day at a time. The older I get the more eating right and staying healthy becomes more important to me, but I'm not complaining. I am a pretty laid back guy that enjoys the simpler, little things in life, and I try to keep a positive outlook while remaining realistic. I like to joke around a lot and have a good time, but what I like the most is spending one on one time with people and getting to know them.

I am looking for a nice, down to earth girl. Someone who is kind and caring, someone who can be goofy and who I can laugh and share bad jokes with, and someone I can continue to grow with as a person.
