I am a retired educator, artist, and writer who is looking to share creative ideas and techniques, primarily in two-dimensional media. My professional background is in photography and graphic design, but my teaching experience includes both principal and practice of traditional and digital art. Printmaking has always drawn me to the studio, but currently my interests focus on exploring abstract watercolor painting. I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with color, materials, mixed media, and improvising new methods of visual self-expression. My eyes are most often attracted to contemporary artwork from the impressionist period to present.
