I spend a lot of spare time doing these projects. Currently I've been doing a lot of hand lettering, because I want to refresh my skills and be able to do workshops to teach beautiful lettering skills.
But I have a closet full of materials for other kinds of projects. I made a lot of papier maché masks in the past. Next summer I'll probably pull that stuff out and start doing some more.
Early in my career I earned money as a professional photographer. I've also been a graphic designer and typographer. Now I do a different kind of design work in the field of education.
